Kyushu Society for Low-carbon Systems

For realizing low-carbon systems, which are touted as a solution to energy and environmental problems, collaborating with universities and research institutions in the Kyushu region is important. The Kyushu Association for Low-carbon Systems was established in 2007 and makes specific proposals for resolving energy issues, forming an international platform for the development of technology and projects as well as the promotion of international cooperation. The Society carries out projects to achieve these objectives with the cooperation of affiliated local governments, business firms, and other organizations.

Development of human resource, prevention of global warming, and development of technology for coal upgradation, biomass utilization, carbon dioxide capture, and energy storage
